srx 700 RPM

What RPM's should this srx 700 be pulling wide open. It's pulling about 8500 right know.

what year srx? '98-'99's like to peak @ 8350 and '00-'02's like 8500.

this is w/stock porting and pipes of course.

OK thought it was right for a 98, just wanted to make sure it was right after I adjusted power valves.

you need to add just a smidgin of tip weight to bring it down if you want to be real technical. lol But it will change with the weather so I would run her before changing anything!

My 2000 SRX did 8500 rpms today. But for some reason, the spedo doesn't work at all this year.

better check your driveshaft bearing, when the bearing gets worn, it shearsc the speedo drive key.
