I ordered a pair of tether switches from shadetree. These are listed for Yamaha, but came with a "T" style electrical plug? Did I order the wrong ones. I need to install on my srx and my wifes vmax. I thought I was getting a universal "hard wire" install tether. But this plug has me puzzled. Do I need to cut the end off or is there a male fitting hinding some where on the sled. Could this plug be for factory tether models (older yami's). It has 2 wires but the universal can be purchased with 2 or 3 wires. Someone please help!
Cut it off and wire it into the brown and the black/white wire coming out of the three prong triangle shaped connector under the handle bar pad.
