So I was at a local sled drag today where a guy grenaded his vmax 4 (little to much nos lol) anyways he was talking bout trying to put a 4BT cummins in that sled, he said he could prol get 700 horse out of it. Anyways is this possible? How would u make the drivetrain/clutches work?
I think he's blowing smoke....but anything is possible these days. If so it would be cool.

That is crazy...who knows...way to heavy for sled....
he is blowing smoke. the vibrations from a diesel would tear a sled apart. good luck starting it cold lol.
reminds me of the vmax 600 on ebay a while back with the 500 horse 355 chevy in it: top speed around 55, no traction whatsoever, took schwarzenegger to steer because of all the ski pressure, and simply looked like shit.
Theres a reason they dont put diesels in sleds. or any big engine for that matter.
