I have a Vmax 600 and in the engine when it is running there is always a rattle noise in it. i got some new parts for it to see if it would stop, but it seems that it wont stop. Please Help!

My 97 Vt 600 has that noise two ,I have been told that it is the clutch .
I have also been told that it is one of the crank bearrings rattling in the
case . I did my crank last year and there were marks where the bearrings
sit in the case . My Yamaha dealer sid that they do that with a chisel to
stop that noise . After I did the crank the noise was gone .
I Just overhauled my clutch and the noise is back . I don't know it could be from either .
I put 2000 miles on it last year and it never got any worse so I am not worried about it . I hope some one else has a simple answerfor this .
