i have a 04 rx warrior and my sled is stock. when i try to stand i have to slouch over to reach the handle bars or have to put a knee down on the seat. i like how the newer sleds make it easier for you to stand and ride over the bumps instead of sitting or kneeing on the seat to absorb them. so how can i make my sled more rider forward and easy transition from sitting to standing??
You should be on the 4 stroke side. Anyway ; change the seat to an apex seat & add 2.5 " risers. It,s been beaten to death on the 4 stroke side so just search.
i was just waiting for the email to be accepted so i just figured i try a post here!!! what year apex or are they the same ?
06-07 nytro or apex mountain seats work best. they all fit tho but you have to cut gas tank shroud.

you can find the seats on TotallYamaha classifieds, ebay, snow west. just do some looking around. you can expect to pay anywhere from 2-300 for one. You can also try Laneo right here on TY he parts out sleds and usually has what you are looking for.xtibbyx said:

+1 on laneo for the seat but be warned, they have gone up since sledhead bought his. i had one lined up that was a blemished one for $400.00 but he sold it before i got back to him.
