I have PowerMadd handguards on mine. I have a medium height windshield and they don't hit. I am using, I think, the universal plastic mounts.

I am using d-flex Tusks they work good and look good with my low cut windshield. This is them in my avatar pic. You can get them on ebay for real cheap and they come with the mounts and are really good quality.

The sled isn't at my house now, but from the website, it looks like they are the Power-X Series. Also looks like I have the FlexMount mounting kit. I can take pics this weekend and send them to you if you want, I haven't posted pics on here before. They just mount to the bar just inside of the handgrips.

In use the Skinz pro handguards and luv em!
I use a mid windshield with a 2" bar riser and the other ones I tried would hit the windshield before the handle bars were at full turn. Skinz don't sit as far out as others and they just touch the windshield at full turn, but are soft enuf to give and not bang anything up.
Besides they are USA made product done right here in Minnesota and like buying local!

Ive got the same ones as musselman, but I also have Pro Taper Contour 1-1/8" handlebars, with 5.5" of riser. Needless to say mine have inches to spare without hitting.
I use to have a set of Sportech guards in chrome blue. they were pretty sweet.

Yes those are the stock ohlins shocks, 13.5" or so eye to eye. I have the front brackets flipped to give more height in the front. I can't compare them to the kyb's though since i never had any but they rode pretty nice and they have adjustable compression which is nice.tippmannator said:dont meant to hyjack, but are those ohlins front shocks??? how long are they and are the worth the upgrade from stock?? any mods needed for install?

Pwer madd here, not sure which ones exactly but the have "pop out " inserts and I bought the aluim bracketery from power madd. Was like 60 bucks out the door. Brackets a super adjustable and havent tested them as far as limbs or branches as of yet but make one hell of a difference cutting down the 40-100 mph wind into the fists!
