I am going to preform the air box mod and head gasket mod to a buddies sled. This is the first time doing this, I have read about doing it, and understand how to do it, but my question is this! After doig the air box mod, it calls for a jetting change of 1 step, do you really need to do this because they are plenty rich from factory? What do you think?
You could always run it and check the plugs.
I cut all my guts out of my silencer and was told Id blow up my sled if I didnt touch my carbs. It runs perfectly, before it ran really rich from factory.
Good Luck Brent

12,000
Theres over 12,000 ks on my mmax. I drove in temps that ranged from -20 to +20 and never hade to touch.the carbs ,elv from sea level to about 2000 feet.On the warmer days it was a little boggy but not much.I'm sure a little carb tunning would fix it right up but it runs too good to with so i'm going to leave it alone....reddog
