i have a 00 sxr 700 and if i hold break and give it throttle it bogs very badly and it bogs just giving it throttle sometimes and also everytime im going fast and then slow down to lower rpms and go to take off again it bogs out until i bring the sled to a complete stop. also i have an 01 sxr 700 that is acting similar and from time to time at 5500 rpm bogs out and then a 00 sxr 600 that is doing the same exact thing as my 00 700. I dont know if its bad gas but i put ethanal reducer and dry gas in the tank, i also had about 1/4 tank of gas when i filled it up with no ethanal premium fuel. i dont get why all 3 would be acting this way. what could it be? and FYI i have been running walmarts cheap oil.n please respond here or text as i might be outside trying to figure this out....570-490-0751

update: i am getting smark on all cylinders but the first one from left seems dead. i didsconnect the spark plug and it doesnt affect the motor at all but if i connect the wire to plug and pulll the cord i am getting spark to the plug. i checked oil and there is no signs of metal from the piston or anything.
If you've got spark you need to check for fuel.
Is the plug wet? Probably need to clean the carbs and check the needle valves.

What do you mean you checked the oil? 2 strokes don't have a crankcase.
Why are you holding the brake, and giving it throttle? Any sled will bog when you do that. Are you trying to do a brake stand??? Replace the plugs, and put a new belt on it and see how that works.
If carbs have not been cleaned do so.....

I'm with whammy on this one. If they all act the same, putting fuel additives in wont help if the carbs are dirty. CCC
