Well the yammy is in the shop getting cleaned up and looked over. He ended up leaning it out a bit because if a boggy sputtering midrange between about 3000-5500 rpm. Carbs, reeds, jets all cleaned ( he sId they weren't even that dirty to begin with ) so what else would cause this mid range issue?
Like I said he leaned it out a bit to see if that helps the midrange at all and here are the numbers he gave me as for the needle , metric etc

Also he said there was some blow by with the slp silencer. Which is easy to see why as the actual part where the manifold hooks into it, because it doesn't set in there bery well, as with the stock can it has a good 1"-2" flange to make sure it's tight and sealed up. I hope this makes sense.
