I've scanned the forums looking for information on track replacement for viper and have only found info on the SRX.
I just ordered a 1.25" ripsaw for my '02 viper and I am wondering if i will need to remove the heat exchanger protectors in order to install this track. I am NOT planning on studding it. Also is it a good idea to replace any bearings, seals, etc. when I replace the track?
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Exact same thing i did. I chose to trim the track and not remove the protectors. I just used a utility knife and in 10 minutes I was done.

Yea you can clip the track so it dont rub. make sure you check the wheel bearings and grease skid. If any of the wheel bearing do not roll smooth they should be replaced.....

I would replace the cog shaft bearings and check the slides and boogie wheele bearings
