Just tested the sled today in 500 feet. I have a setup for 1000 feet. It ran 85 miles an hour. Running a little low on rpm though only 8100. Need to get to 8350.

I do not have enough room yet test for 1000 feet. Hopefully I can get 105. Plus I weigh 225 ;-)

alot of testing i have went from hauck x weights to 8Bu00 and adding an subtracting weight i have come up with close speeds but the 8BU 00 seem to have more pull for low end....

Are these speeds on ice/snow or grass, I have the 8bu-00 with .8 in middle and 4.5 tip with maxx white with a 50/38 dalton seems alright but I'm getting beat by a mxz 700 and a summit 700 both have paddle tracks i'm running 1.25 still have to do sum tinkering but keep testing you'll find your sweetspot

What is distance being ran?
What gearing you got?
What do rpms do from start to finish?
How much are they beating you by?
Are your power valves clean, adjusted, and working properly?
What primary and secondary springs are you using?

For a thousand feet try a straight 45 helix w/ Green secondary 70 twist (for me) and hauck orange spring... Very fast.
