Hi guy's
The season is now open and today I take my first ride with my 01 srx and a sound come out of my track. I look to my suspension and my shock rods is broken and rub my track. Finally the shock is broken the track is used on the center Im pretty sad.
With this breakage I think the best is change my suspension. To get more confort. I read some thread about a swap to polaris edge suspension. I would like to buy a used suspension but what is the year and models of polaris need to buy.
This is a bolt on suspension or I need to make some modification??
Thank you for your response and if you have any sugestion give it to me I hurry to ride my srx again.

do a search here for skid swaps and you will find a ton of info on it, i swapped a Polaris IQ skid which is basically a newer version of the edge skid and i used instructions and measurements o found here. its not exactly a bolt in deal but its a pretty straight forward swap.

ok because a guy sell a 98 srx and I think to buy it to repair my srx 01 this is a godd idea . I think a lot of part it similar
Actually there are a couple of differences in the 2 skids, the 01 has different length limiter straps and the transfer rods are mounted a bit further back if I'm not mistaken.Don't get me wrong here the 98 skid will bolt right in and work fine but you could change the straps from your 01 skid to the 98 and check how the transfer rods are bolted on and have yourself the same thing as you had before. If your looking for a better ride from the sled then go with an SC10 III or a Polaris skid, there's lots of info on here about doing the swap.
