This srx runs good , but can someone explain to me why they are so temperature sensitive...for jetting. If its not just the right temp (cold) it bogs, whty is that. Is it high compression, porting issues etc..... It just seems like there must be something you can change to help this issue...thanks And no I'm not selling it to get rid of the issue. Just wondering if there is some guru out there that has dealt with this succefully?

TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE. NEVER HEARD IT CALLED THAT. ANYWAYS YES YOU ARE CORRECT, SRX WAS JETTED VERY CONSERVATIVE BECAUSE OF THE HIGH HP THESE SLEDS HAD. SHURE YOU CAN GET RID OF IT SOME BY CHANGEING JETS, BUT THESE SLEDS RUN THE BEST AND MAKE THE MOST HP WHEN ITS COLD, AND YOU BETTER BE JETTED CORRECTED FOR IT. 3:16 (yammie tony)

80 srx bog

so it bogs a bit down low because its jetted rich??? and best to leave it? I think this sled will only go out on not so cold days just for fun...so maybe I could jet it leaner just a bit.....,? maybe? low speed or hight speed? Which is the culprit?....or lean out both a bit. Its all stock jetting right now.

That sled should never bog. Jet it stock and keep the clutches healthy. It is likely the clutches.

colder air is denser.....less air density, the engine sees it as 'more fuel'.....
