i was wondering if anyone knows if these are good pistons to buy? anyone?????
I've never used anything but OEM parts. I believe the general consensus is to stick with OEM

SPI's are a great piston, and the price is even better. Used them to rebuild all my polaris's I have owned, ( been using them since 2000), and never had a failure. They are the only piston I will ever use again for 1/3 the price, and they are high quality! Only trouble with them is sometimes they are tough to find, and they only get shipped to the US once a year.
my mechanic is iffie on me purchasing them. but im broke and cant afford oem. i just wanna get through the season. i need more good feedback to convince him to do it. thanx!!! im sold on it but he isn't......
This has been covered lots in the past...its not that there is anything wrong with SPIs its just that the OEMs are as good as it gets!
Its all about getting on the snow, if thats all you want or can spend...Go for it!

i've put 6000 miles on my polaris 700 twins using SPI, and a local snowmobile repair shop uses nothing but SPI for all of their rebuilds for customer sleds. They are as close to a stock piston as you will get. Buy them and use them!!
