Premix Ratio ???

83 V-Max 540 motor...Whats the general consensus as to the premix ratio when you ditch the factory injection. I'll be using Klotz Techniplate. I can get the usual 87,89,91 with 10% ethanol. Can also get non ethanol 87,89,93. 100 octane is also available locally...Thanks

For trail sled I run around 32-40 to 1 to be safe. Straight line racing I use 50 to 1.

I WOULD CALL IT ALL AROUND OCTANE TODAY. AND KEEP IT ON THE HIGH SIDE UNLESS YOU HAVE GOOD SUPPLY OF PISTONS. 3:16 (yammie tony)
