so i just bought this phazer II believe it or not its in great shaoe i see alot of potential the seat is bad but it WILL clean up nice, i needed something to play with other than the srx for around here...
it has 2500 original miles , is it a long track?? is it stock? or someone added it? what size track? to me looks like a long track phazer but ive never seen one before...
has 133lbs of compression in clutch side cyl, and 130 in the pull side...
what are these sleds worth cleaned up?
any input on these sleds would be so greatly appreciated guys...
i plan on buying a aaen pipe and play/learn how to clutch them..

That's a 91 ST. 136x.75" track. That was the factory longtrack designation.

Looks just like my old ST. 121 skid with extensions and that extra set of idlers in the back. I know mine came that way from the factory

I really like the sled. Those 90's phazers look really bad ***.

Had one identical to it and mine was a 91. I suppose it could be a 90, but I don't think the ST was an option that year. The red/white color scheme was a 90/91 thing. More solid colors after that.
Compression sounds about right.

Looks like a good sled. You can buy a seat cover from yamaha if they still have them - they might not have the matching one but an all-black one from a different color or year will work - not cheap though. Might be able to find a whole used seat. Or take it to an upholstery shop and have a new cover made, but that may not be cheaper than an original.
Should be able to find some used T.S.S. cans to replace the damaged ones.

I had a 1992 Phazer 2 and it was blue and white, i put a psi torque pipe on it and down jetted one size and did some clutching, 1"1\4 track and it was untouchable up to 70 mph, buddy had a Thundercat and took till 70MPH to pass me!! be pretty tough to ride now after rippin my Apex mountain around!!! enjoy your new ride....

im trying to buy an aaen pipe now along with a diff primary spring , i bought this sled to ride around here when it snows (i have an srx) but i plan on making it rideable itll be my back up sled and i can have my girl ride it when she comes up north... how fast are these phazers? how much horsepower? i was also trying to figure out what size lug track i could run on it safely without hitting anything .... thank you guys

They were about 56 hp from the factory. Pipe is good for about 12. Good porting, some head work, piston cut, reeds, and a switch to flatslides will yield about 80 depending on the dyno. Fairly reliable at that level, but mine needed a gallon or two of 110 cut into each tank to keep it from rattling the pistons.
1.25" will clear with the stock 8 tooth drivers. It's really tight to put back together, but works great once it's in there.
