Venture or any 2-up Question

Im working on changing up the handle location on my seat jack and was wondering if someone with a venture or any other 2-up could take 2 measurements for me. My wife has a location she would like to see me weld the new handles but before I go and do it I'd like to see how it stacks up against a factory setup.

Measurements from my 2002 Venture 700

B = 10.25 inches
A= 8.00 inches with backrest in full back position
