You will get alot of different opions on clutch setups. Search in the tech section to find a setup that you can be comfortable with

Stock would probably be a nice safe bet to go back to and then experiment from there if you start feeling like learning about the options. What is worn out on it? How much needs replacing?howellsxviper700 said:thxs but i know noting about cluch kits so im looking to see whats out there and what other ppl think ... and would it be beter to just bye a stock one .. anything is a help

shes just not like she use to be .... and shes my all around sled just looking to get the skis in the air more
Rebuild both primary and secondary clutches. The bushings and buttons might be worn out by now.Clean them real good while you have them apart. Get the shop to replace the spider bushings/sliders on the primary.I can't remember what the correct name is for them .I just told the tech I wanted the slop taken out of the primary and he changed the these plastic bushing/slider thingy's. Go thru the skid and make sure everything is good and true. Check all bearings on the wheels, driveshaft and jackshaft. Have the motor checked and tuned meaning new plugs, clean carbs and cleaned powervalves. Have the powervalves adjusted too.
With the taller track you may want to gear down the top tooth to 21 from the 22 gear. This will also give you more get up and go and some claim more top end as well.
As for clutching, I like the Heel Clicker 40 10 kit. Really grabs the belt.
In the secondary there are alot of options. I persoanly have had good luck with Dalton helix's. The type of helix will depend on what type of driving you do mostly ie; trail, off trail, drag.

If you just want to lift the skis just let out the limiter straps. Skis will be up all the time but it will not turn very well.![Rofl  ](https://totallyamaha.net/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

x2 on just rebuilding the old clutches. i replaced all the bushings, sliders, buttons, and rollers in my clutches a few years ago and it was a night and day difference. i don't thing my primary was even closing all the way. after that i also agree on the hellclicker setup. my buddies hc equipped viper blew my stock clutched viper away every time.
