year of sled ?

I just picked up this sled the guy says its a 87 but im not sure the number on the side of tunnel is 82v-000753 its a xlv540 2up if anyone can help .
i think its a 82 i guess not sure

82V starting vin is indeed a 1987 XL-V 540.
