sputter at high rpm

Hey guys I did a search on here but couldn't really find much... I was at the drags today with my 01 srx(stock everything) and notice when im going about 70 or so at around 8 grandish it was sputting and didn't wanna move kinda sounded like a bog... Also my powervalves are clean.. Just wandering what I should check, otherwise sled runs great! thanks guys

im in the process of cleaning the carbs right now...having a hard time because the guy who I bought it from stripped the screw out! Ill let ya know, what in the carb should I focus on if its doing this?

clean per tech page......... verify for proper jetting for the condition you ride.......

All I do is trail ride and just drag for fun im not serious about racing or anything just average riding conditions....Always was fine just started doing it now

Ok so I just got done going through my carbs and found buildup in all three pilot jets, could this have been the problem? The jetting was correct also everything was per spec. For stock! I hope this was the problem but isn't that for lowend power right?
