Ok so I plan on running a 141 mountain cat skid under the sxr with a 141 2" track and 8t driver.
What I'm wandering is what kinda clutching and gearing I should run it's a 700 looking to do some powder riding

all the sleds that i have longtracked, and that has been several, i always used the equivalent oem mtn sled specs for a base line and adjusted from there.
in your case, find the clutching and gearing from a pre 03 mtn max, because thats basically what your making your sled into.
then its test and tune from there.

Snowdad Is Right On, I Like The 48/42 Helix With The Green Sec. Spring Myself. Primary Setups Vary Greatly.

Try 20 40 gearing,that seems pretty standard for most sleds with a 141 or 21 40.
