i was wondering if any of you after market dealers in the northern illinois/southern wisconsin area have a dc outlet in stock for a 2000 srx. i need it for my gps. hopefully before christmas

Just buy a cigarette lighter from Napa and wire it in. I installed mine on top of the aluminum footwell bracket next to the chaincase and use it to power my GPS - has worked flawlessly for over a year. I tied into the same wire I used for my heated visor under the handlebar pad. I don't recall what wire it is for sure but I believe it's blue. Whatever the case, just take a voltmeter and with your sled running find a wire that has 12 volts (actually it will be more like 14 volts). Make sure to use a wire that has constant power and not one for your hi/low beams that will be intermittent.
