I have a 2002 vmax 700 that I ran stock for first year . It would hit 160kph on a lake, I then installed a set of P.I. quiet pipes the second year and now I have put it back to stock in the third year. Now that it is back to stock I can only get 140kph on same lake ,same conditions. This sled has always wanted to rev.89000rpms stock .My rpms seem to be about the same now as it was the first year. I am thinking it must be a clutching thing. A lso it seems to be down on acceleration. ANY THOUGHTS

Change both springs to start with..then get your revs down!!! 84-8500 max otherwise you are out of your power.
