Hi everybody,

I am getting a 4 day weekend starting tomorrow Thursday the 13th at 5PM.

I dont have to be back to work until 0630 Tuesday morning and wondering where everybody is going to ride at this weekend. Im looking to meet up with a group to go riding and can travel as far north as Gaylord Michigan which is 8 hours north from me. I have my sleds with me and will be pulling them.

Tom

Not to be a downer but there's not much snow in gaylord to speak of. All the snow in Michigan is north of m-28 between Marquette and east past grand marais. Unless they got a bunch of since Sunday when we came through, I'm not sure if the trails will be rideable.

Thanks for the feedback. I just spoke TOD from this forum and he has a cabin there. He also mentioned the lack of snow in Gaylord...

I still want to get away to go riding so maybe there is snow in northern Indiana or southern michigan and some people going I can meet up with.

Supposed to be below 0F around here all weekend, but I'm sure I'll do some riding. Gotta try out the 174" 08 Apex, I picked up this last weekend, down in the coulees here in central ND.

i am gonna ride the bean fields and ditches here at home and spent the money on gas for the sled instead of the truck to go north

The river here is frozen so I had just planned to putz around home and also do some fishing, but you got me thinking about the DNR trail in the thumb. It's less than 2 hours away but I'm not sure it's even still around.

I heard yesterday they're gettin lake affect from the winds out of the North.

I'll dig into the DNR website to see if the trail is still around/being maintained.

Otherwise you're welcome over my house. The barn is heated and wood already split so if you're into testing/tuning all you'd have to do is show up. The river is a seawall ramp away. Oh, and its a three day weekend for me... MLK

Stay tuned.

Hey fellas there is a ton of snow from kalkaska to petosky...They recieved 8+ inches last friday alone and have been getting more every since......thought you would like to know....Cadillac is finally getting more as of yesterday and today / tomorrow trails are getting better

I am supposed to head up to my friends house in Saginaw then head to Grayling tomorrow morn. We are staying at the Ramada, which coincidently the Ohio Snowmobilers Association is supposed to be staying at this weekend. We were planning on heading west / northwest to find the snow. You are welcome to tag along. I am also trying to talk him into coming down here and running on Long lake in Reading MI. There is about 4-5" w/a possible 1-3 more in the next 2 days. I'll shoot you my number.
