Drawing a blank today guys and just double checking my thoughts (hard to believe i have a thought at times). Just checked my oil ratio and seems im running a bit lean. Only used 8 oz of oil for about 5gal of gas. To increase oil usage i want to decrease the gap correct? Im at 20mm now so by that thought i want to decrese to 19mm hence increasing my oil usage. Im shooting for the 1qt per tank (50:1). Not sure why its so different this year as compared to last, any thoughts on that? And im running cpr pipes so does that take yamaha spec's for the pump adjust out of play? Sorry so many questions but im having a rough one today. AHH just remembered i havent had any coffee yet! Thanks guys! CCC
yes, shorter the gap the richer it is, best with a viper pipes or not, keep extra oil in there, they like to lose the rod bearings if too lean.

that's what i've been telling people for the last 2-3yrs, but when i tell others to lessen the free play in the oil pump cable, people thought i was crazy and over doing it. dunno why?
