So, I took my carbs off to clean them before the season started, and upon start up I get the two long and one short light pattern indicating TPS (open or short circuit). Is it a matter of adjusting the throttle linkage or do I need to be looking at something else? The sled starts and runs fine, but the light comes on everytime I start it.

as dumb as it sounds, go over and make sure the connectors are plugged in good at the tps and at the airbox.

X2...
The connector from the carb rack to the main wiring harness can be a bit tricky to get plugged in.

Did you have the TPS off the carb rack?

HMMM. We just went through this. My light was going off so I tested it as per the manual and turns out it was junk. POOCHED. So I ordered a new one for the price of $140cdn and will install it as per the manual instructions. There's your fix.

The TPS was not removed from the carb rack. I will get a look around tomorrow and see if I didn't get something connected back up. It's possible, especially since I was pressed for time to get the thing on the trailer and out to ride on a trip.

Do our sleds have a designates tps light? I know when I start my sled, some lights flashes a few times and goes off. Never looked close to what it was. Sled runs like a champ. Curious if I should investigate and see what the flashing light is, or if every srx has a light flash a couple times upon starting

No. The temp light flashes three times when you start it up to show that all systems are a go. Anything after that is a problem code.
