I took out the Yama Davidson yesterday, minimal to no snow, and gave it a little burn. I was able to spin most of the snow and ice off the front road, first impressions while riding are good. I did a few jumps, if you can get the front end off the ground, it does suprisingly well. THE REAR SUSPENSION SUCKS!!! There is very little movement in the rear, even with my 325 on it. All the rear skid settings are on medium, but there is so little movement, I hate it. SO, mod #1 will be extroverts, #1A is sticking a Ekholm skid in the back. #2 might be exhaust.
The power seems good, there seems to be a lot of noise behind the primary clutch at idle, which worries me a lot. Other than that, the ride seems ok, it does have balls, no doubt. More to follow as snow happens.

Hey Ken,
What size drivers you going with? I have a set of 9 tooth extros, cyleworks.
I'm looking to trade for some 8tooth or sell them.
Later, Culvert

Kbx, part of the noise you hear is the fact that the motor is so quiet, you can now hear clutch rattle... The rest has to do with the starter gear and etc. which Yamaha supposedly took care of of on the 04's. The only thing I don't like on the 03 is the settings the hand/thumb warmers go to whenever you start up the sled. I will try to remember this year to turn em' off when I start it up.
