I have a 2001 Srx 700 that had a Hauck can on it when I got it.Though I like the sound of it when running on the pond I am tired of the drone when on the slow trails .I am going to switch to a stock muffler for trail riding.My question is can I use any year muffler?There is a 98 locally but I don't know if it will work.

No the 98 muffler has small dounuts mutch like the ones off the moter but smaller.

Thanks for the info Blue.I kinda thought so looking at the parts catalog but wasn't sure.
Sorry overpowered but I want to keep it. I like the sound when playing on the pond and its fun putting the fear of blue into the Po and ZRT boys every now and then.
