Does the muffler have a flange on the end where it connects to the Y pipe?
If I remember right it does? It rusted off?
Does any one have one for sale?

Not sure exactly what you are asking. There are 3 flared ends on the muffler, one for each pipe. On the bottom of the muffler where the muffler goes out the bottom of the sled, there is a flange, and it is welded onto the muffler.
Are you looking for the flange, or a muffler. Send me a p.m. if you need a muffler.

When I ride it moves off the manifold and is Loud.

That end is stepped to allow for an exhaust donut. The step is about 1/2" long. If the pipe is coming off of that either the pipe is broken or a motor mount is broken.

There are two springs that hold the pipes down. One goes between number 1 pipe (PTO side) and down near where the radius rod bolts are. There is another spring that wraps around another pipe and is connected to another spring - two springs connected together. Check that you have those springs and that they are connected.

I have a Viper

I agree with stein700sx, I would check for broken motor mounts..... common on a Viper. That may cause your pipe to slip off.
It doesn't look like you have an exhaust donut between your manifold and pipe. Unless I just can't see it? That would make it loud.

I don't. The muffler is flat to the Y pipe.
Checked motor mounts, look good. Do I need a new muffler?
You need a new-used eXHAUST MANIFOLD,...........maybe new -used donuts also.....

your donut wore out, so it's not sealing and your springs have nothing to keep them tensioned. replace your donut. you don't want a used one. As long as the donut fits right, and teh manifold didn't wear a hole in the pipe, you don't need to change anything but the donut.

I got a new donut, don't think I need it.
My manifold has a flange on the end, like the muffler! Have taken the muffler off many times to clean the power valves, did I install it wrong? Bought sled new. I don't understand this!!!

Put the new seal/donut in!!! Stein gave you a great example on the preceding page.

What happened there? There nothing to hold the donut anymore. I guess it rusted and wore down. Your donut must have worm away a long time ago if you have that much wear on the manifold.

Your right, Male end is gone off manifold
