02 SXR lights/hand warmers

Hi
just got from a ride and when I put on the hand warmers on the head light would dim, then when I applied the brake it would brighten again?? it doesnt happen with thumb warmer only when hand warmers are put on??? any ideas what to look at' thanks

Check the wire harnes under the handlebar pad. Sounds like you have a wire grounding out somewhere.Also check the harness going under the motor.
