I just got my SXR700 out and cleaned it up trying to get ready for a trip up north. Cylinders 1 & 2 spark and fire fine. My 3rd cylinder sparks but does not fire. I changed plugs and still get the same result. I pull the plug, and it smells like gas. Then I start the sled with the one plug connected but not installed and see spark while the sled is running. I've had this box of plugs for a few years now. Could the plug be bad but I still see a spark? Is that possible?
I have Bender pipes, jets, clutch installed with head gasket & air intake mod. (followed directions from here)
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a carb issue,, have you cleaned the carbs?

Last year I did. The pre-jets were clogged. The plug is wet though, but you still think it maybe a carb issue? If thats the case I will take it apart tomorrow. Just not sure if I should consider the plugs because of how old they were. Thanks for the advice!

How old is your gas?

There was about a half tank of gas from last year. I put octane boost and card cleaner in the gas and filled the rest up with premium. I only put premium in the sled. You think its possible it could be the gas? 2 cylinders fire great and the other doesn't.

Solved
Problem was the PRE-JET.
Whats crazy is I just did them not to long ago. Must of been something in the gas.
Thanks for all the ideas!
