Has anyone ever fabricated a skid plate for a '93 Exciter II SX or other Exciter? Found a brand new Phazer II skid plate and was going to see if I could modify it to fit the Exciter. Thoughts?

I have had all three sleds with skid plates and found the 94-96 Vmax 5/600 skid plate fairly easy to fit on an Exciter with the help of a heat gun and utility knife. There were some aftermarket Exciter skid plates if you can find someone with old stock ?

Any pics to post or other information? Still looking to do this; I do have a Phazer II skid plate that I could try and modify too. Anyone ever go that route instead of the VMax skid plate?

Well I'm running the 94-96 vmax skid plate on my XL-V and its far from a perfect fit but it does fit and works well. I would think the phazer skid plate would work better or the exciter.
