I have a 01 sx770r and ride is rotten. A dealer told me that if I changed the white spacers on the tranfer rods it would help. What is the best way to get the top ones off.
2 ways...either drop the skid and yank the rods like the tech area says or loosen the track, remove the rear axle nut and cotter pin, pull the putside wheel, push the axle over to get the other outside wheel out of the way to unbolt the bottom half of the transfer rods....then slip the bottom half of the rods off and walla....top washers are off
