Hi guy,
Yesterday I start my srx and he run on 2 cylinder I stop it check the coil connection and I see some corrosion I clean it and put some dieletric grease. I restart it an everything is ok. I go take a ride and the sled run all the time on the three cylinder. I park all the night and this morning I start it everything is okay. 6hours later I go to take ride and start the sled for warm up and I run only 2 cylinder it's always the center cylinder missfire. I change the pluf and no change. Do you think it's the coil ??

Could be, easy thing to do is switch 2 around say center with mag and see if the problem moves to another cylinder. I had a dead one on my srx this year aswell.

I agree with TopGunnSrx. To clarify, don't just switch the plug caps. unplug your coils and switch them to test. 01 SRX only sends spark to one cylinder at a time.

And I read that on a old post here this is real ??
Try the spark plug caps or wire. Coils are wired in series . If one is not working the circuit is dead and they all won't work

NGK plug caps will work just fine. Use an ohm meter and test your caps first. Unscrew the caps from the wire. Take the leads from the ohm meter and connect one to each end of the cap. It should read close to 5k ohms. If not then replace them.

Ok i Just go for a little ride yesterday after I check my caps ad everything is fine.... I don't think it's a coil because it's intermittent I will re try my sled today and if I have no trouble it's because is the caps no ?
