Question for the guys out there

I recently purchased (Dec. 26th) used parts from a member of this website, and have not recieved them yet. Payment was made Dec. 26th and seller finally got back to me after parts still werent delivered, as of Jan. 12th. On the 12th of January i recieved message from seller saying parts were shipped the week prior and i should be expecting shortly. Its January 20th now, i have missed both of my sledding trips, and since the 12th of January i still havent been able to make contact. I purchased $390.00 worth of front end parts for my viper. I live in Detroit Lakes, MN and if parts were to be shipped from his profile address they would be coming from Wisconsin. My question is, WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!? Report to website administrator? Just looking for you members feedback. Any help would be appreciated. He is listed as a totally yamaha advertiser and feedback from his selling is 100%. Im clueless, and really really want to get my sled running. Happy Trails
 

i would try pm'ing that member 1st. mayby he has a tracking # for your stuff.

if you cannot work it out, then bring it to the mod's attention in a pm but i suggest this as almost a last resort.
 
Hopefully it gets all figured out for you. I recently purchased my first sled and know I will need parts as the time comes....and all it takes is one story like this to make someone gun shy...even on small parts.

This sounds all too familiar, I think I know who you are having issues with! If it is the same guy, I had the exact same problem with him last fall. Waited almost four weeks after I paid him for the parts to show up, then I started to threaten him with a PayPal dispute and reporting him to TY. Suddenly he started replying to my PM's and giving me lame excuses like "I am having trouble finding a box" or "I have been busy with work." When the parts finally arrived they were packaged terribly (basically he tossed them loose into a beat up box) and were in a condition worse than what I was led to believe. If someone tells me they have a mint condition seat, wouldn't you expect it to NOT have a cigarette burn in it?

Take a look on the various forums... you will see he has been busy posting lately, so you know he is around. Also, read through his thread on the For Sale forum, there several others who he is/or has screwed around with. Not sure how he has a 100% positive rating... I don't know where to go to see that.

Yup...Ive bought several parts from Westbay he's on top of it.....the Carbs worked GREAT....Curt thanks again
 
This sucks. I know there is alot of good people on here to do business with. But not knowing who the bad one is makes a person a little scared to do business with any of them. It's a short season and having the sled sitting is no way to spend it.

I asked you 4 days ago to send me a pm. with information and have recieved nothing, i just sent you a pm. Please send the information to me and we can get this taken care of to the best of our ability!
 
Did you use Paypal? if so open a dispute. Contact Tom (MRSLED)and see what he can do for you. We need to know who he is so nobody else gets ripped off by him!!

You should've sent Sleddhead a pm when he asked. Don't kick a gift horse in the mouth. The Mods are your best bet for getting your parts quickly IMHO. Also always use PayPal.
