Can anyone tell me the differance between stock carbs on a 1998 700 srx and the stock carbs on a 2000 700 srx..thanks

The primary differance is in the jetting specs...you can see this in the tech section. The 2000/01/02 carb racks also have a Throttle Position Sensor[TPS] that the 1998/99 don't have. You could easily rejet a rack of 2000/01/02 carbs and install them on the 98/99 and leave the TPS off but you would create issues by trying to use 98/99 carbs on the 2000/01/02s that have/require the TPS.

Could it be that the jetting in the 2000 is better than the jetting in the 1998,,or did they they change the airbox so it it breathes differant
