sled starts great when the sled is driving and u let of the throtal and its reving down in has a weid miss and gets stuck at 3000 rpm and doesnt sound right. If i give it gas when its doing that it bogs i have to let it go back to idle before it will drive it did sit for 2 years but i clean the carb and new gas before running and it did run fine for the first half a tank of gas then started to do it.
TORS not adjusted right. THROTTLE OVERRIDE SWITCH. You need to make sure that you have 2 to 4 mm play in the throttle cable and also that wear the throttle pivots it moves forward that area is slotted. Do a search on TORS and you should find some pictures of this adjustment.

well i fix the wirer and it still did the same when i rev it up and let off it sticks at 3000 but aounds tarable sound the same as when u do a t.os.r.s. test
Is the throttle cable a little sticky going back? You can test the switches easy enough with a multimeter. One switch at the carb rack and another in the throttle housing in the pivot (not sure which wires these are).
The system is designed so that a frozen (literally or from damage) throttle cable doesn't make the sled go screaming off into the distance with a ghost rider, basically eliminates the tether found on other makes.

no the throttle is smoth no sticks what so ever do u know what the multimeter should read i really believe that its the switch on the carb cause everthing works fine until u completely let go of the throttle then it goes into the off miss and then clears and u can go again

I think I can help!
Hey, I think I might be able to help you. Go and read a thread of mine from a couple years ago. My sled ran exactly the same, messed with carbs, throttle cable, etc. finally I was convinced it had to be in the TORS . Good luck,Soc
