I'm thinking about putting a cigarette lighter recepticle on my 2000 SXR600. I've read in other threads to tap into the brown wire going to the Tach. for 14V DC. Is there a decent grounding location up in the guage pod, or am I best running a wire back down the hood and finding a solid ground in the belly pan somewhere? I only intend to run a GPS or cell phone charger off of this. I plan to buy a marine grade recepticle for this application. Do I need to put an inline fuse in my wiring, and if so, any recommendations on fuse size? Thanks in advance guys.
