I cleaned the carbs this year and now I notice I have an issue.
When I do a full throttle squeeze/run and let off quickly the motor immediately goes non responsive. When I hit the throttle the motor just does nothing seems to backfire a little. It's almost like it's not getting gas at all. Not until I come to a complete stop does the engine return to normal. It doesn't happen all the time but happens enough.
I've ran through a two tanks of gas already so i don't think it's that. Could the fuel screws be too tight? Do they have anything to do with when you let off the gas? Is there a throttle safety switch?
Help would be appreciated!

I'll check the throttle cable and make sure it isn't too tight....

Like they said, sounds like the TORS (Throttle Over Ride System) is engaging. The throttle cable has to have some slack in it, you must have put it back on too tight after cleaning the carbs. Give the cable some more slack at the carb adjustment and watch the way your thumb throttle moves when you first start to push on it. It needs to be able to pivot when you first push it, if it's too tight then it doesn't pivot and engages the TORS. This is a safety device in case the throttle cable frays and sticks.
