Reed spacers

I am looking at buying some reed spacers for my 2000 Vmax, I was wondering how thick they are and if there are any specific kinds that are better than others.

The spacers are .250 thick. I have Maxximums but you can make them yourself.

Save your money and do the reed stopper notch. It does the same thing and costs you nothing, just a little time. $50-60 for 3 pieces of 1/4" aluminum and some gaskets is rediculous. If you can find a WPS (Western Power Sports) dealer, they have spacer kits for about $30, but they don't have "Bender" or "MaxxPerf" on the label.
