Any Expert Yamaha guys in mpls area on here?

Are there any expert yamaha guys on here in the mpls area that i can get to look at my viper? Not sure why i have burned up 2 cylinders already this year.

single pipe. only mods are vforce reeds and a boost bootle.

did u started to get trouble after putting those v force and boost bottle ...probably running lean

Is it same cylinder burning up

hate to be the one to ask but did you clean your carbs? and have you checked for vac leak?

check for an air leak after you pyt those reed cages in, and probably get rid of the boost bottle JMHO

Bought it with those mods done. different cylinder each time. Carbs are clean as a whistle.

pictures would help with figuring out what is going on. When did each cylinder go out? wot? mid?
What does the plugs look like? Did you check the wash?

Details will help you get the correct answers and get it figured out

I will get some pics on here later today.Each time it has happened i was pretty much wot(not gripped though). The 1st time it happened a small piece of the ring broke and took out the cylinder and piston. This time a larger piece of the ring broke and caused more damage to this piston and cylinder then the other time and also chewed up the power valve

never seen ring broke ..maybe the power valve hit the piston ring or something like that but only broke a ring hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm don't think so

not using enough oil? can that be adjusted?The pipe had alot of oil in it when i took it apart
