Sorry for the dumb question...

I need to change the rivets in my clutch weights and don't want to ruin anything. I made the removal tool described on Tech Pages, so now do I just use a punch to pound the old ones out, or do they need to be drilled out? Then for putting the new weights in, do they just get pounded in and that is it, or do you need to do something else to secure them?

Thanks in advance!

need to drill the head of it then punch them on...to put them back the easiest way its to squeeze them in a big vise

drill and punch out.I made a punch tool..grinded the end so that it fits the hole size in the weights by about 1/2" long.First I drill a smaller hole so I can hit dead center(sometimes off)..then take a larger bit..1/4 to 3/8 after that.If you hit dead center the bigger bit will take off the surfave of rivet and punching the reamaining thru is easy.

Ditto on squeezing them in a vice to put back in, works good.
