I cleaned out my carbs and readjusted the needles from the last guy who tried to "fix " it and made everything worse, and now runs great
After cleaning the carbs I was debating wether to try ( what seemed to be better than factory setting for some ) a setting of 2.5 on the needle with one washer above and below the clip and a 1 3/4 turn on the screw, But ended up just going back to factory @ 3 on the needle ( both washers under the clip ) and 1 1/2 on the fuel screw..
It does have a sort of spit and sputter at the beginning , But nothing major at all, but Ive heard all yamahas around this yr have that issue .. So would it be worth a shot to go to the new setting , or just leave it stock
