looking for how wide ski

what ski is the widest that yamaha makes and what sled is it on?

I'm thinking it would be the saddless ski found on the 05 Viper Mtn and other Mtn sled versions. Such as the Apex Mtn, Vector Mtn, etc.

I believe it is 7.2 " wide. Same ski on every mountain sled 05- current. Tall keel and excellent floatation.

The factory MM skis were like 5" wide. Aftermarket Gen I Simmons skis are 6" wide, I have them on my MM and I love'em. I definately wouldn't get a set of stock MM skis. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

cool thanks for the info.just trying to keep it cheap and I have a set of 2002 srx ski and was thinking I would use the loops and outher hard ware...

You should use apex mountain skis you cut off there'd mounting tabs for there ski loops and drill holes for your old loops and by all the hardware for the apex it's cheap
