please ignore my attempt to paint an orange ski black. But here it is. Sunday night on the way back home with my wife and a couple friends. we had to ride the shoulder a little and then I started up onto the banks. I was riding about 15 to 20 feet and then bam I get sucked right into the ditch. The ski broke and pulled me right into the ditch throwing me right over the handle bars. Good thing I was only doing about 15 mph. Now I have a set of viper skis coming.

Time to leave the race ski's to the track, and go with a nice "stock" ski. I will pick up those collars tomorrow morning so you can be snow ready again at least on the good ol' metals. Until the upgraded stocks show that is...

Oh.... And again I missed the good action shot! So now that's two trees hit and one over the handle bars for the season.... and thankfully, no injuries

I disagree, I love my C&A race skis. 8inch carbides with no studs, hard to steer, but handles like it is on rails.
few weeks ago i flipped it end for end off a field approach at 70mph, the skis didnt get bent... handles did though, but those bent back easy enough....
that sucks lowmilevmax, hope you are ok.

found my ski tip the other day. It was a clean break. Not sure how though.
