ok so i Finally got my ups stuff today 2 days after i overnighted it... im so aggrevated with ups...

anyway i was going to run 8dn20's with 4.5 in both holes...
52/44 helix
red spring @ 80
(also have a green spring if needed)

but the problem is i dont have any 4.5 gram rivets because my local dealer sucks and gave me 3.6 rivets instead... so at the end of the day i have the stock weights and rivets 4.5 outer/ 3.6 inner in my primary

and i dont know whether i should leave the secondary alone (stock) or should i put the helix in and set the wrap? if so what should i set it at? is there anything to gain by this? or should i just leave it stock? please help im new to this clutching sh*T and between ups and my dealer im pissed off and dont know what to do with this thing ......oh yeah 2001 srx 700

go back and get 4.5 rivets, or else find someone with a gram scale and go get some small machine screws, washer, and lock jam nut to use for weights, nice because they are adjustable then.

but anyways, what do you have for primary spring? I have stock pri spring, 4.5 in both holes, and a 52-46 helix, and with red spring i can't get enough spring pressure with a helix that steep. I'm running a green at 60 and I am spot on for my clutching, I'm guessing you will be in the green at 70-80 range as I also am running a lightweight track...

Also, you could add a washer to those 3.6 if your in a pinch, but gotta know how much the washers weigh....good luck

its snowing so bad here and its an hour away im packing up and leaving tonight so getting the rivits is out... i figured id ask if there would be anything to gain by adding the helix and etc? stock track 168 trail studs

just throw in the helix with green spring at 70 and let her rip, will be close enuff to ride for now, you can dial it in perfect when you get back and get the right primary spring and rivet combo.
