On a 600 mountain max , is it posible to scrap the smart carb idea with the computer and replace them with normal flat slide carbs ? is there more to it than that ?
Yes you can do it.
be carefull on jetting, the older vmax carbs flowed diff that the smart carbs
I'd say as far as the jetting like mentioned above me, just jet it for your temp and elevation, based on a chart for any other 600 triple without smart carbs.
better jetting specs would come from any 600 twin without smart carbs.
Isnt the 97 600 mm a triple?
no 600 triples in the mtn max chassis till 99 or 2000.
