Alright so I'm getting ready to order the last of my parts for my ET250 mikuni swap. I measured the carb that I got and turns out it's a 32mm, which I am not worried about.. However, I am confused on how to choose the right jet needle and needle jet for my application. The needle I have sitting around is 6DH8 and the needle jet is Q-2. I can't seem to find anything online that describes sizing and how these two pieces interact or how to size them correctly. I'm gonna keep searching and if I come up with something I will post it here but any help from you guys is greatly appreciated!

I just read that the first number is the series needle, or overall length, the 2nd and sometimes 3rd numbers/letters being taper, and last is revision which states how far up the taper begins. I looked up what the stock 32mm comes loaded with and the needle jet is the same, Q-2, the jet needle is 6DH4 so it might have a smaller tip but I should be able to adjust it at the clip to work for me. Other than that I think I am all set..
