sxr 700, i noticed alittle fog or condensation on inside my speedometer glass, is there any easy way to pop that glass to wipe it down? or is it all sealed? its no big deal, and this was on a cold sled, maybe once i ride and warm it up it will evaporate.

If i remember right this is a common problem on all yamahas. All three of mine do it. Thier was a post a couple years back where guys took it apart and replaced the gaskets and seemed to have luck but couldnt find it. It drove me nuts also for a while but got used to it now. A hair dryer will dry it out for a while but it will come back. Nature of the beast i guess. Chris

They usually clear up with riding, i do believe there's a coating inside the lens to help with this that may deteriorate over time.
cold cold temps are worse yes.

Mabey a slightly higher wattage bulb/bulbs will create enough heat to dissipate ?????

My 97 700sx does the same thing, it fogs up but it goes away once it warms up and you start riding it.

Are we saying that if we see fog its because we don't ride them long enough. I'll need to fix that. lol
