I am in the process of installing a set of SLP pipes on my Viper with reverse. I know there are several people who have made this work. I am wondering how much modification you guys did to chaincase or mount on the silencer to get things to line up properly? I ended up cutting about 3/8" off of the front battery mount support plate and about 1/4" off of the front battery box bolt hole. After I did that, the bracket on the silencer was hitting the actual chaincase cover, so I cut about 1/4" off of the bracket. I still have to use a decent amount of force to get the ends of the stingers to line up with the holes in the silencers, but at least everything is connected. Should I be worried about the stress that is currently on the pipes and silencer? The only way I can see to get things to line up better would be to cut the bracket on the silencer off and then reweld it in a different spot.

I got mine to fit by cutting some of the tabs off the chaincase, but I don't have elec. start or battery.

Do your stingers line up perfectly with the silencer, or do you need to force them a bit to get them to pop into the silencer?

No, they didn't fit perfect, just had to move 'em around till they fit the best they could
